How can I tell if my lawn needs aerated?
Depending upon how much foot traffic the lawn in question gets, you may need to aerate more than once a year. You always want to aerate when the lawn can grow and heal itself from the process. How do I redeem my Groupon voucher?
To redeem, please have the eight-digit number located below the barcode available and go to the appointment scheduling page to request your appointment. You will receive a confirmation email after your appointment is scheduled telling you the date of your appointment and an arrival time email 24-48 hours prior to the appointment.
What if I do not know what the square footage of my lawn is?
Rest assured, we will not be measuring your lawn to determine exact square footage. The typical front yard in Northern Florida is 6,000 square feet. A quarter of an acre is equivalent to approximately 11,000 square feet. The normal lot in this area is 11,000 square feet.
What if my lawn is larger than the normal property size?
You have the option of only have your front or back yard aerated. If you would like to have more than 11,000 square feet done, The Yard Gators will give Groupon Customers a great rate to have additional square footage done at $25 per 5,000sf. This is payable at time of service.
Will it affect my irrigation system?
Irrigation system pipes need to be at a minimum of 6 inches below the surface to avoid damage. Sprinkler heads will be marked out prior to aerating to ensure that they are not damaged.
Does my Yard have to be cut in order for you to aerate it?
Yes, your yard must have been cut in the past 2 weeks in order for lawn aeration to be successful. The more recent that the yard has been mowed, the better. The Yard Gators provides mowing services. If you would like a rate, please call us at (904) 377-7634.

The Yard Gators schedules according to the day that we are in your area and the route plan for the day. If you have a specific time that you would like us to arrive, we will try our best to accommodate you if possible.
How far in advance do I need to make my appointment?
While every effort will be taken to schedule your lawn aeration as soon as requested, we do book up quickly following a Groupon advertisement. We ask that you request to be added to the service schedule as far in advance as possible. There are times that we will not have any available service times for a week or more.
